“Because of my time at YBB, I am inspired to incorporate more aspects of architecture into my life, maybe even build more random projects in my free-time.”

“Through time, I have become much more confident in the work I produced.”

Ramon was also an active participant in our MLK service event this year, and says that the conversations he had at the event taught him about how we can help people through Architecture.

This month we are proud to introduce Designery student Ramon Asuncion!

Ramon is interested in a career in Software Engineering, and enjoys doing hands-on projects. As a senior at Fenway High School, Ramon earns school credit for his participation in the Designery program's in-school model. He recently shared with us that he is proud of his improvement through the program, and his confidence has grown over the course of the semester. His favorite project so far has been the marble project, where his design incorporated two loops, and made the marble jump.

“Before this class, I had the misconception that Architects only draw all the time, stay in an office, and that’s all they do. However, through time and time again in this program, I was proven wrong when meeting new people in this profession.”

Ramon says after he graduates he is going to miss the people he has met through the program. We have thoroughly enjoyed working with Ramon this semester, and are very proud of his progress so far. We know that he will excel in his career after high school, and wish him the very best!
