
YBB Stage 1
A six-month module for individuals who have not graduated high school. Stage 1 features academic instruction aimed at earning a diploma, alongside exploration of building trades and life skills development. Participants gain foundational carpentry skills and industry-recognized certifications, including OSHA 10, First Aid/Adult CPR, and NCCER. Workshops cover job search skills, financial literacy, substance use awareness, personal wellness, nutrition, and healthy cooking. After Stage 1, students can move to Stage 2 or access transitional services for further educational or training opportunities.
What is expected?
Participants must attend all classes, join training sessions, and finish certification tasks. They should be prepared to learn, build new skills, and focus on personal growth.
